Autumn yoga retreat

a colorado peak fall experience

october 14-17, 2027 | beyul retreat | meredith, colorado

High in the Colorado Rockies, tucked between Aspen and Vail, we gather for a long autumn weekend devoted to movement, stillness, nature, and deep connection.

Our home is Beyul Retreat—a century-old guest ranch transformed into an extraordinary creative retreat sanctuary, set on 32 private acres of meadows, forest, creeks, waterfalls, and riverfront wilderness. Featured in Vogue, Condé Nast Traveler, The Wall Street Journal, and The Denver Post.

Join Kali Basman + Janelle Holster for a dynamic meeting of opposites: Janelle’s powerful, energizing flow alongside Kali’s Yin Yoga, meditation, and contemplative practice. Strength and softness. Movement and stillness. Effort and surrender.

Between practices, wander beneath the aspens, hike straight into the surrounding national forest, soak in the hot tub, move between sauna and cold plunge, linger over beautiful meals, and have actual spaciousness to simply be.

We’ll close our final evening with ecstatic dance and ceremony—a celebration of embodiment, connection, and being fully alive.

Come move, soften, celebrate, and remember what becomes possible when you make space for both your power and your stillness.

BEYUL RETREAT:

Your Home Away From Home

Beyul is a century-old guest ranch transformed into a creative retreat sanctuary, tucked deep in the Colorado Rockies between Aspen and Vail. Set along the Frying Pan River on 32 private acres of aspen groves, forest, meadows, creeks and mountain terrain, the property offers the rare feeling of being truly away—while giving us an extraordinary place to practice, gather, wander and restore.

Rest & Roam

Stay in cozy historic cabins and lodge rooms, gather around roaring fires, wander private trails directly into the White River National Forest, or simply disappear into a quiet corner of the property with a book. Beyul was made for the rhythm of retreat: time together, time in practice, and plenty of time to be alone in the wild

Soak & Restore

Between Power Flow, Yin and meditation, slip into Beyul’s cedar sauna, outdoor hot tub and cold plunge, walk along the river, explore the forest and let the mountains become part of the practice.

Your GuideS:

Kali Basman

International and intentful Yin & Restorative Yoga teacher of teachers, Kali Basman, offers an intermingling of wisdom disciplines: Foundations of Buddhist mindfulness, the pranic pathways of Traditional Chinese Medicine meridians, physiology of the nervous system, and individual-informed anatomy.

Leading yin and mindfulness focused trainings and retreats across the globe, Kali pays reverence to her lineage of teachers, Sarah Powers, Jack Kornfield, Judith Hanson Lasater and more.

“Kali is the definition of wisdom. I feel held in such an intuitive deep space. Her teachings are enlightening and expanding. I feel this knowledge will stay with me forever”

“Eloquent and concise, Kali speaks of ancient wisdom”

Janelle holter

Janelle doesn’t idle well. A lifelong lover of movement and the outdoors, you’ll find her hiking, running, snowboarding, lifting weights, bouldering, or most recently, mountain biking—which makes Beyul a particularly fitting place to practice alongside her.

Janelle began practicing yoga in 2012 as a complement to an active, adventurous life and quickly discovered something much deeper. Since then, she has completed ten certifications, led international retreats, facilitated more than 30 teacher training immersions, and founded TVLA YOGA.

Her teaching blends power vinyasa, strength, mobility, alignment, rhythmic core work, and intelligent movement into practices that are strong, creative, and deeply embodied. With an emphasis on sustainable alignment and injury prevention, Janelle builds her classes in intentional layers, giving each practitioner space to meet themselves where they are while offering plenty of room to explore their edge.

At Beyul, Janelle will lead our morning Power Flow practices—inviting us to wake up, build heat, get strong, and step off the mat ready for a day in the mountains.
