PAYMENTS & CANCELLATIONS
Registration & Payment
Your place is confirmed once we receive either your full payment or deposit. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
You may choose one of two payment options:
1. Pay in Full
Pay in full at the time of registration and receive the published Pay-in-Full discount (if applicable).
2. Installment Payment Option (Automatic Payments)
If you register 90+ days before an event: (Deposit + Three Payments)
Secure your space with a non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance will be divided into three equal automatic payments, processed through Stripe at equal intervals between your registration date and the final payment deadline, which is 60 days before the program begins.
If you register between 90 and 60 days before an event: (Deposit + Final Payment)
Secure your space with a non-refundable deposit. The total remaining balance will be automatically processed through Stripe 60 days before the program begins.
If you register fewer than 60 days before an event:
We require payment in full at the time of registration.
If a scheduled payment cannot be processed, you will be notified and given 7 days to update your payment information. Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of your registration, with all payments made remaining subject to the cancellation policy below.
Cancellation Policy
All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
If you cancel 90+ days before an event:
You will receive a refund of any payments made beyond your deposit.
If you cancel between 90 days and 60 days before an event:
No refunds will be made — All payments made become non-refundable.
If you cancel within 60 days before an event:
No refunds will be made — You remain responsible for the full program fee, regardless of attendance or whether your payment plan has been completed.
Because retreat centers, accommodations, and vendors are reserved well in advance, we are unable to make exceptions to these policies.
Travel Insurance
Because our cancellation policy applies regardless of personal emergencies, illness, injury, family emergencies, weather disruptions, or travel delays, we strongly encourage comprehensive travel insurance.
Transfers
Registrations are non-transferable between participants.
Transfers between retreats, training, or workshops are not permitted unless expressly approved by Kali Basman.
Event Changes & Cancellations
Kali Basman reserves the right to modify the schedule, teachers, accommodations, venue, or programming when necessary while preserving the overall integrity of the experience.
If Kali Basman postpones a program, your registration will automatically transfer to the new dates.
If Kali Basman cancels a program, you may choose either:
A full refund of all amounts paid to Kali Basman; or
A transfer of your registration to another available program (any difference in tuition will apply).
Kali Basman is not responsible for airfare, hotel accommodations outside the retreat, visas, travel insurance deductibles, or any other travel-related expenses incurred by participants.
Health & Participation
By registering, you acknowledge that participation in yoga, meditation, hiking, breathwork, and related practices involves inherent risks.
You affirm that you are responsible for determining whether this program is appropriate for your health and physical condition and will consult a healthcare provider if necessary.
You agree to participate voluntarily and assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages that may arise from your participation.
Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
In consideration of participating in a Kali Basman retreat, training, immersion, or workshop, you knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless Kali Basman, its teachers, assistants, contractors, venues, and affiliates from any claims, demands, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from participation in the program, except where prohibited by applicable law.
Force Majeure
Kali Basman shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, postponements, or cancellations resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, wildfire, pandemic, government restrictions, civil unrest, transportation disruptions, venue closures, or other force majeure events.
Photography & Media
Photographs and video may be captured during programs for educational and promotional purposes. By participating, you grant permission for your likeness to be used on Kali Basman's website, newsletters, and social media channels.
If you prefer not to appear in photographs or videos, please notify us in writing before the program begins, and we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your request.
